Dr. Raffaele Bove, DVM is a Veterinary Medical Officer at ASL Salerno and Technical Director of CeRVEnE, the Regional Veterinary Reference Centre for Non-Epidemic Emergencies of the Campania Region.With extensive experience in veterinary public health, food safety, animal welfare, and disaster management, he coordinates regional initiatives focused on emergency preparedness and response within the One Health framework. Dr. Bove works closely with public health authorities, research institutions, universities, and civil protection agencies to develop innovative strategies for managing natural disasters and other non-epidemic emergencies affecting animals, food systems, and communities.He is also President of the association “Mediterraneo: il mare che unisce”, which promotes scientific, cultural, and social cooperation across the Mediterranean region.
