È necessario abilitare JavaScript per vederlo.; ORCID ID 0000-0001-8874-9865) is a Full Professor of Agronomy and Agroecology, author of 101 publications focusing on the relationship between agriculture and the environment, in particular on soil quality management, air pollution, biomass crops, climate change mitigation and phytoremediation. He has served as scientific lead for Italian and European projects on the circular economy, bioenergy and biomaterials of agricultural origin, and the phytoremediation of contaminated soils. His research interests include: the impact of tropospheric ozone on crop growth and yield; biomass crops for renewable energy and biomaterials; soil quality management; phytoremediation of contaminated soils. His specific expertise includes: environmentally friendly projects for the remediation of contaminated soils (e.g. phytoextraction, phytostabilisation, rhizodegradation); the assessment of contamination risk in agricultural soils.
